MIF’s Covid-19 response

An Important Message to our Customers and Students

Maine Instrument Flight, like all companies, is concerned with the unprecedented challenge that our nation is facing due to coronavirus (COVID-19). Please be assured that during this time of uncertainty, the health and safety of our customers and our team is our highest priority.

As an FBO, we are considered an essential business and will remain open to those who need us.

To minimize risk while continuing to fulfill your travel and educational needs, Maine Instrument Flight employees will continuously monitor their health and communicate any concerns with company leadership. Due to updated executive mandates from Governor Mills, masks are required in all public areas of the building.

If an employee develops a fever, cough or other symptoms, they will be directed to self-isolate and will be excluded from work until cleared by appropriate authorities. Additionally, employees who suspect they have been exposed to a confirmed case of COVID-19 will be excluded from working whether they exhibit any symptoms or not until they are cleared to return to duty. Finally, Maine Instrument Flight will ensure the common touchable surfaces in our office, FAA Knowledge Testing Center, and on our aircraft are sanitized before and after being used. Social distancing will be practiced within the office and FAA Knowledge Testing Center.
